Amyloid-beta-IN-3 (EX.113) is a selective gamma-secretase inhibitor. Amyloid-beta-IN-3 inhibits Abeta42 secretion in H4 cells with an EC50 value of 148 nM. Amyloid-beta-IN-3 regulates the gamma-secretase catalytic activity to decrease Abeta42 production, thereby alleviating neurotoxicity caused by Abeta deposition. Amyloid-beta-IN-3 is promising for research of Alzheimers disease (AD)[1].
