VEGFR-2-IN-79 (Compound 17) is a VEGFR-2 inhibitor with an IC50 of 2.32 µM. VEGFR-2-IN-79 exhibits potent and broad-spectrum cytotoxicity and can induce apoptosis in MCF-7 cells. VEGFR-2-IN-79 does not cause a significant decrease in the mitochondrial membrane potential of MCF-7 cells. VEGFR-2-IN-79 can be used for research on breast cancer[1].
