COX-2/5-LOX-IN-6 (Compound 4c) is a potent and selective 5-LOX (IC50 = 0.10 µM) and COX-2 (IC50: 2.88 µM) inhibitor. COX-2/5-LOX-IN-6 displays potent anticancer activity against ovarian cancer. COX-2/5-LOX-IN-6 would not cause cytotoxic effects in noncancerous cells. COX-2/5-LOX-IN-6 is a potential anti-inflammatory agent[1].
