MGB1Y is a non-covalent DNA minor groove binder (MGB) that effectively inhibits cancer cell proliferation and topoisomerase I (topoisomerase I) activity. It downregulates breast cancer-related genes in MCF7 and MDA-MB-231 cells. MGB1Y demonstrates broad-spectrum anticancer activity, including against breast cancer, colon cancer, and leukemia.
