P-glycoprotein (P-gp/ABCG1) inhibitor. Blocks P-gp-mediated multidrug resistance (MDR) of the cytotoxic drugs doxorubicin and vincristine in CHRC5 cells. Also inhibits breast cancer resistance protein (BCRP/ABCG2). Orally active. Sequence: C34H33N3O5.HCl Solubility: DMSO (~50mM) Molecular Weight: ~600.1 Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
