Produktbeschreibung

Competitive sphingosine kinase (SphK) inhibitor. Exhibits inhibitory activity in platelets and in cytosolic extracts from U937, Swiss 3T3 and PC12 cells. Selectively inhibits sphingosine phosphorylation, does not inhibit N-acylation, and displays no inhibitory effect on protein kinase C at concentrations that inhibit SphK. Increases the release of IL-1beta and MCP-1 in cultured astrocytes, thought to mediate mechanical allodynia via this mechanism. Sequence: C20H41NO2 Solubility: DMSO (~30mM) Molecular Weight: ~327.55 Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
