Potent 17beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 3 (17beta-HSD3) inhibitor (IC50 values are 6 and 40nm at human and mouse 17beta-HSD3 respectively). Displays no activity at 17beta-HSD1, 17beta-HSD2, ERalpha, androgen receptors or glucocorticoid receptors. Sequence: C17H12BrNO3S2 Solubility: DMSO (~100mM) Molecular Weight: ~422.32 Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
