Produktbeschreibung

ProNGF is the pro-form of the neurotrophin nerve growth factor. Like the mature protein proNGF is characterized by the cysteine knot motif consisting of three cysteine bridges. The protein predominantly exists as a non-covalently linked homodimer. The proNGF is a 50kD dimer in solution, on SDS-PAGE monomer at about 25-30kD is detected. To analyze this protein on an SDS-PAGE., DTT as a reduction agent is absolutely necessary. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
