Titers for anti-Gal antibodies. Serial 1:2 dilutions of serum from alpha1,3galactosyltransferase knockout mice were incubated on plates coated with alpha-gal-linked bovine serum albumin. Titers of 1:160 or greater were considered immunity comparable with human titers and appropriate for use in experimentation.
