The original antibody was generated by immunizing mice with Htt exon 1 (67Q) protein fused to GST (GST-HDx67Q). Boosting of the mice was performed with an aggregated form of exon 1 having 67 Q repeats of the huntingtin protein (67Q), prepared by removing the GST.
