SerpinA3, also known as Alpha 1-antichymotrypsin (AACT), is a plasma alpha globulin glycoprotein, and is a member of serpin superfamily of the serine protease inhibitors. It is synthesized primarily in the liver and secreted as one of the most abundant serpins in plasma. SerpinA3 deficiency has been associated with liver disease, and mutations of this gene have been observed in patients with Parkinson disease and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Serpin A3 is a major constituent of the plaques associated with Alzheimers disease and an inhibitor of amyloid beta peptide degradation.

Target:
Serpin A3/Alpha-1-antichymotrypsin
Application Dilute:
Lyophilized from a 0.22 µm filtered solution of 20mM HEPES,150mM NaCl, pH 8.0.Contact us for customized product form or formulation.
Application Notes:
Cross-Reactivity: Centrifuge the vial before opening. Reconstitute to a concentration of 0.1-0.5 mg/mL in sterile distilled water. Avoid vortex or vigorously pipetting the protein. For long term storage,it is recommended to add a carrier protein or stablizer (e.g. 0.1% BSA,5% HSA,10% FBS or 5% Trehalose),and aliquot the reconstituted protein solution to minimize free-thaw cycles., ResearchArea: Other Recombinant Protein
