Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Superfamily Member 10C (TNFRSF10C) is a glycosyl-phosphatidylinositol-linked membraneprotein which binds TRAIL with high affinity. TNFRSF10C has the TRAIL-binding extracellular cysteine-rich domains, lacks theintracellular signaling domain. As a result, binding of TRAIL to TRAIL R3 doesn t transduce an apoptosis signal. Theexpression of TRAIL R3 gene has been shown to protect cells bearing TRAIL R1 and/or TRAIL R2 from TRAIL-inducedapoptosis.

Application Notes:
Cross-Reactivity: Centrifuge the tube before opening. Reconstitute to a concentration of 0.1-0.5 mg/mL in sterile distilled water. Avoid vortex or vigorously pipetting the protein. For long term storage,it is recommended to add a carrier protein or stablizer (e.g. 0.1% BSA,5% HSA,10% FBS or 5% Trehalose),and aliquot the reconstituted protein solution to minimize free-thaw cycles., ResearchArea: Cytokines & Cytokine Receptors
