CD320 is a heavily glycosylated protein that is expressed as a noncovalent dimer in the kidney, placenta, liver, intestine, and secondary lymphoid organs (3 - 5). It functions as an endocytic receptor for circulating complexes of Cobalamin (Vitamin B12) and Transcobalamin II. In the immune system, CD320 is expressed by germinal center B cells and follicular dendritic cells (FDC) and provides a co-stimulatory signal to B cells during the germinal center reaction (2, 6 - 8). CD320 also cooperates with CD44 in promoting the development of B cell lymphomas.
Lyophilized from a 0.22 µm filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4.
Target:
CD320
Application Dilute:
Lyophilized from a 0.22 µm filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4.
Application Notes:
Cross-Reactivity: Centrifµge the vial before opening. Reconstitute to a concentration of 0.1-0.5 mg/mL in sterile distilled water. Avoid vortex or vigorously pipetting the protein. For long term storage,it is recommended to add a carrier protein or stablizer (e.g. 0.1% BSA,5% HSA,10% FBS or 5% Trehalose),and aliquot the reconstituted protein solution to minimize free-thaw cycles., ResearchArea: Bio-Markers & CD Antigens
