Source: Human Cells. MW :32.3kD. Recombinant Human Neurotrimin is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Gly34-Leu316 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus. Neurotrimin localizes to the cell membrane and contains three Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains. Neurotrimin acts as a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored neural cell adhesion molecule. Neurotrimin may promote neurite outgrowth and adhesion via homophilic and heterophilic interactions.
