TSLP is a pleiotropic cytokine originally characterized as a lymphocyte growth factor. Thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) is overexpressed in the airways of severe asthmatics and is an upstream cytokine that orchestrates inflammatory responses in asthma.
