Vset and immunoglobulin domaincontaining protein 2 (VSIG2) is also known as Cortical thymocytelike protein, CTH, CTXL, is a singlepass type I membrane protein which contains Iglike C2type (immunoglobulinlike) domain and one Iglike Vtype (immunoglobulinlike) domain. Vset domains are Iglike domains resembling the antibody variable domain. VSIG2 is highly expressed in stomach, colon, prostate, trachea and thyroid glands and weakly in bladder and lung.
