CDCA3 is a F-box-like protein which is required for entry into mitosis. It acts by participating to E3 ligase complexes that mediate the ubiquitination and degradation of WEE1 kinase at G2/M phase.

The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP6614a was selected from the N-term region of human CDCA3. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
