ELF1 is an E26 transformation-specific related transcription factor. The protein is primarily expressed in lymphoid cells and acts as both an enhancer and a repressor to regulate transcription of various genes.

The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP6639a was selected from the N-term region of human ELF1. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
