PFTK1 is a member of the CDC2 (MIM 116940)-related protein kinase family. It May play a role in meiosis as well as in neuron differentiation and/or function (By similarity).

Target:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP6780a was selected from the N-term region of human PFTK1. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
