TAOK3 is negatively regulated by epidermal growth factor (EGF) and inhibits the basal activity of Jun kinase. When TAOK3 is overexpressed, it may activate ERK1/ERK2 and JNK/SAPK.

Target:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP7012c was selected from the Center region of human TAOK3. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
