PFTK1 belongs to the Ser/Thr protein kinase family, CDC2/CDKX subfamily. It is highly expressed in brain, pancreas, kidney, heart, testis and ovary. Also detected at lower levels in other tissues except in spleen and thymus where expression is barely detected. PFTK1 may play a role in meiosis as well as in neuron differentiation and/or function.
Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
Target:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP7026b was selected from the C-term region of human PFTK1. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
