GAB1 is a member of the IRS1-like multisubstrate docking protein family. It is an important mediator of branching tubulogenesis and plays a central role in cellular growth response, transformation and apoptosis.

The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP7832c was selected from the Y659 region of human Gab1. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
