SARS2 catalyzes the attachment of serine to tRNA(Ser). It is also able to aminoacylate tRNA(Sec) with serine, to form the misacylated tRNA L-seryl-tRNA(Sec), which will be further converted into selenocysteinyl-tRNA(Sec).
Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
Target:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP7837c was selected from the Center region of human SARS2. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
