CEP55 Plays a role in mitotic exit and cytokinesis. Not required for microtubule nucleation. Recruits PDCD6IP and TSG101 to midbody during cytokinesis.

Target:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP8586a was selected from the N-term region of human CEP55. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
