SHC3 is a signaling adapter that couples activated growth factor receptors to signaling pathway in neurons. Involved in the signal transduction pathways of neurotrophin-activated Trk receptors in cortical neurons.

The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP8615b was selected from the C-term region of human SHC3. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
