INPP5K is a protein with 5-phosphatase activity toward polyphosphate inositol. The protein localizes to the cytosol in regions lacking actin stress fibers. It is thought that this protein may negatively regulate the actin cytoskeleton.

The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP8767c was selected from the Center region of human INPP5K. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
