CDC42EP3 is probably involved in the organization of the actin cytoskeleton. May act downstream of CDC42 to induce actin filament assembly leading to cell shape changes. It induces pseudopodia formation in fibroblasts.

Target:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP8775a was selected from the N-term region of human CDC42EP3. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
