CXCR7 is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor family. Although this protein was earlier thought to be a receptor for vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP), it is now considered to be an orphan receptor, in that its endogenous ligand has not been identified. The protein is also a coreceptor for human immunodeficiency viruses (HIV).

Form: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
Target: The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP8776b was selected from the C-term region of human CXCR7. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
