CD24 is a sialoglycoprotein that is expressed on mature granulocytes and in many B cells. This protein is anchored via a glycosyl phosphatidylinositol (GPI) link to the cell surface.

The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP8782a was selected from the N-Term region of human CD24. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
