GRB14 is a growth factor receptor-binding protein that interacts with insulin receptors and insulin-like growth-factor receptors. This protein likely has an inhibitory effect on receptor tyrosine kinase signaling and, in particular, on insulin receptor signaling.

The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP8969a was selected from the N-term region of human GRB14. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
