PEX11A may be involved in peroxisomal proliferation and may regulate peroxisomes division. It may mediate binding of coatomer proteins to the peroxisomal membrane.

The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP9007a was selected from the N-term region of human PEX11A. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
