ELP4 encodes a component of the six subunit elongator complex, a histone acetyltransferase complex that associates directly with RNA polymerase II during transcriptional elongation. The human protein can partially complement sensitivity phenotypes of yeast ELP4 deletion mutants.
Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
Target:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP9192b was selected from the C-term region of human ELP4. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
