IPPK belongs to the IPK1 type 2 family. It phosphorylates Ins(1,3,4,5,6)P5 at position 2 to form Ins(1,2,3,4,5,6)P6 (InsP6 or phytate). IPPK is ubiquitous, with high expression in heart, brain, testis and placenta.
Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
Target:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP9236c was selected from the Center region of human IPPK. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
