20(S)-Ginsenoside Rg3 is the main ingredient of red ginseng. 20(S) -ginsenoside Rg3 inhibited Na+ and hKv1.4 channels with IC50 of 32.24.5 and 32.62.2 µM, respectively. 20(S) -ginsenoside Rg3 also inhibited Abeta, NF-kappaB activity and COX-2 expression.
