Shikonin is the main ingredient of Lithosia, a Chinese herb with a variety of biological activities. Shikonin acts as an anti-inflammatory by inhibiting tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha), Proteasome can inhibit the activation of nuclear factor-kappaB (NF-kappaB) signaling pathway.
