Freund's adjuvant (incomplete) lacks the Mycobacteria found in Complete Freund's Adjuvant so it minimizes the side-effects. It is used for boost injections. It was used to emulsify antigens that are injected into animals to produce monoclonal antibodies from the antiserum.
