The immunogen is a synthetic peptide directed towards the C terminal region of human SUPT5H
Alternative Names:
SPT5, SPT5H, Tat-CT1
SUPT5H and its binding partner regulate transcriptional elongation by RNA polymerase II. SPT4 and SPT5 are involved in both 5,6-dichloro-1-beta-D-ribofuranosylbenzimidazole (DRB)-mediated transcriptional inhibition and the activation of transcriptional elongation by the human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) Tat protein.
Host: Rabbit Target Name: SUPT5H Sample Tissue: Human Hela Whole Cell Antibody Dilution: 3ug/ml
25 ug of the indicated Human whole cell or tissue extracts was loaded onto a 6-18% SDS-PAGE gel. 3 ug/mL of the antibody was used in this experiment. The peptide sequence is contained in an isoform present at ~105 kDa. The protein is heavily modified by phosphorylation.
