Immunogen:
The immunogen is a synthetic peptide directed towards the C terminal region of human GPT2
Alternative Names:
ALT2, GPT 2, MRT49, NEDSPM
GPT and GPT2 (EC 2.6.1.2), also known as alanine transaminases, are pyridoxal enzymes that catalyze the reversible transamination between alanine and 2-oxoglutarate to form pyruvate and glutamate. By mediating the conversion of these 4 major intermediate metabolites, these transaminases have roles in gluconeogenesis and in amino acid metabolism.
Liquid. Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer with 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 2% sucrose.
25 ug of the indicated Human whole cell or tissue extracts was loaded onto a 12% SDS-PAGE gel. 3 ug/mL of the antibody was used in this experiment. An isoform containing the peptide sequence is present at 47 kDa.
