Immunogen:
The immunogen is a synthetic peptide directed towards the N terminal region of human CBX2
Alternative Names:
M33, CDCA6, SRXY5
CBX2 Contains 1 A.T hook DNA-binding domain and 1 chromo domain. CBX2 is a component of the Polycomb group (PcG) multiprotein PRC1 complex, a complex required to maintain the transcriptionally repressive state of many genes, including Hox genes, throughout development. PcG PRC1 complex acts via chromatin remodeling and modification of histones, it mediates monoubiquitination of histone H2A Lys-119, rendering chromatin heritably changed in its expressibility.
CBX2 was immunoprecipitated from 1 mg HEK293 Whole Cell Lysate with ARP51628_P050 with 1:200 dilution. Western blot was performed using ARP51628_P050 at 1/1000 dilution. Lane 1: Control IP in HEK293 Whole Cell Lysate. Lane 2: CBX2 IP with ARP51628_P050 in HEK293 Whole Cell Lysate. Lane 3: Input of HEK293 Whole Cell Lysate.
