This product is Arachis hypogaea (peanut) PNA lectin labeled with Biotiums superior CF594 dye. Lectin PNA is specific for terminal beta-galactose and binds preferentially to a commonly occurring structure, galactosyl (beta-1,3) N-acetylgalactosamine. CF dyes are Biotiums line of next-generation fluorescent dyes with advantages in brightness, photostability, and conjugate specificity compared to other fluorescent dyes. Deep-red fluorescent CF594 dye has excitation/emission at 593/614 nm.
