Synthetic peptide, corresponding to Human PPARgamma.
Conjugation:
Unconjugated
Alternative Names:
Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma, Short name=PPAR-gamma, Nuclear receptor subfamily 1 group C member 3, PPARG, NR1C3, PPAR gamma, PPARgamma
Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARgamma) is a member of the ligand-activated nuclear receptor superfamily and functions as a transcriptional activator. PPARgamma is preferentially expressed in adipocytes as well as in vascular smooth muscle cells and macrophage. Besides its role in mediating adipogenesis and lipid metabolism, PPARgamma also modulates insulin sensitivity, cell proliferation and inflammation. PPARgamma transcriptional activity is inhibited by MAP kinase phosphorylation of PPARgamma at Ser84.
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Form:
Rabbit IgG, 1mg/ml in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.2.
Application Dilute:
WB: 1:500~1:1000 IF: 1:100~1:500
Application Notes:
PPARgamma (S112) polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of PPARgamma protein.
