Aramchol is a synthetic conjugate of cholic and arachidic acids. It demonstrates dose-dependent inhibition of cholesterol crystallization and dissolution of existing crystals in human bile ex vivo. This molecule is investigated in research for its potential in treating metabolic and liver diseases, including non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).
