NGB 2904 is a highly selective dopamine D3 receptor antagonist with a Ki of 1.4 nM, exhibiting over 150-fold selectivity versus the D2 receptor. It potently inhibits quinpirole-stimulated mitogenesis (IC50 = 6.8 nM) and is a valuable research tool for investigating D3 receptor function in neuropsychiatric disorders and addiction models, both in vitro and in vivo.
