NO-indomethacin is a nitric oxide-donating hybrid of indomethacin designed to retain anti-inflammatory and analgesic efficacy while mitigating the gastrointestinal and renal toxicity associated with conventional NSAIDs. It demonstrates significantly enhanced potency in vitro, such as inhibiting pancreatic cancer cell (PaCa-2) growth with an IC50 of 82 µM, and shows promise for chemoprevention research.
