Flavokawain 1i is a chalcone derivative with demonstrated anticancer and antiviral research applications. In vitro, it inhibits growth of resistant NSCLC cells by targeting Hsp90 client proteins, while in vivo studies show it reduces PRRSV viral loads in pigs.
