Jobosic acid is a saturated fatty acid and a selective inhibitor of SARS-CoV-2. It inhibits the Mpro and the interaction between spike-RBD/ACE-2 with IC50 values of 7.5 µg/mL and 3 µg/mL, respectively. Jobosic acid also exhibits viral entry inhibition against the omicron variant of SARS-CoV-2.
