BD-Oligo is a fluorescent sensor that selectively detects Abeta oligomers via pi-pi stacking and hydrogen bonding. It is applied in vitro to monitor oligomer dynamics during fibrillation and in vivo for brain imaging in AD mouse models, having demonstrated blood-brain barrier permeability.
