Enzyme is stable for at least 6 months at -20 C as undiluted stock Specific Activity: request Certificate of Analysis (COA) Product Description The secreted human beta isoform (teratocarcinoma derived) autotaxin with C-terminal 6-His tag was expressed in Sf9 cells and purified using nickel-NTA chromatography. The enzyme is supplied lyophilized (Contains dextrose, Hepes, trehalose and Tween 20) and is tested for activity before release. Autotaxin, also known as ATX, eENPP2, lysophospholipase D, phosphodiesterase 1alpha and plasma cell glycoprotein-1, is a secreted glycoprotein that is widely expressed with high levels in the serum. Via its lysophospholipase D (lysoPLD) activity autotaxin hydrolyzes lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC) to generate the phospholipid growth factor lysophosphatidic acid (LPA). The enzymes same activity hydrolyzes sphingosylphosphorylcholine (SPC) to form sphinosine1-phosphate (S1P). Documents Technical Data Sheet |
