Potent inhibitor of casein kinase 2 (CK2, IC50 = 7 nM).1 Showed no inhibition of DYRK, HIPK, CLK, and PIM family kinases. It is a circadian clock modifier that caused strong period lengthening. Growth of MLL-AF9 leukemia cells was strongly inhibited by GO289.
