UZH2 (2756566-45-5) is a potent (IC50 = 5 nM) and selective (against METTL1 and METTL16) inhibitor of the RNA methyltransferase METTL3, a key component of the writer complex targeting N6-methyladenosine (m6A), the most common RNA modification. It was able to impair cell growth (GI50 = 12 µM) in MOLM-13 cancer cells (AML).
